Oryx and Crake - Margaret Atwood
A post-apocalypse tale with a different take -
this is an apocalypse brought on by genetic engineering gone wrong.
This is the only Atwood that I've read, but not
the last. This is an excellent book, even I don't fully buy into the dangers
that she portrays and (hopefully not)
foretells.
Snowman, our narrator,
recaps the story of how the world got be in its state at the time of his tale.
There's a great set of controlled reveals of the world and the characters. It's
a wonderful book.
